Concord Road Water Line Relocation

Relocation of 12-inch diameter water line associated with roadway widening for a project co-funded by TDOT and the City of Brentwood, Tennessee.

The City of Brentwood and the Tennessee Department of Transportation co-funded the widening of Concord Road from Edmondson Pike to Nolensville Road. The project widened the existing road from two to three lanes and included a curb and sod strip-separated 10-foot wide bike/pedestrian path on the south side of the improved road.

CIA Engineers provided engineering design for the relocation of the affected 12-inch diameter water line and the associated road crossings, service lines, hydrants, and meters. The water line design components were designed to coordinate with the roadway widening and minimize relocation costs, system disruptions, easement costs, and landscaping damage.
