Metro Nashville and Davidson County’s Metro Water Services (MWS) hired a consultant team led by CDM to survey and assess several reservoirs throughout the MWS system, design improvements to rehabilitate and repair the reservoirs and their sites, and provide bidding assistance and construction administration for the improvement implementation. CIA Engineers is a key member of the CDM team.

Improvements to the reservoirs include site and security upgrades, such as access and fencing, recoating/repainting, new overflow pipes with Tideflex valves, new ladders and platforms, addition of dechlorination systems, site piping and valving.

CIA Engineers’ role is to provide engineering for site improvements and provide engineering and CADD support for tank improvements.
